February 2, 2007
The Orlando Magic will collect and then match donations made at its game tonight and tomorrow night in order to help aid victims of this morning's devastating storms in Central Florida.
All donations collected will be matched by the team and then donated to the local chapter of the American Red Cross. Orlando Magic dancers will be on the concourse of the Amway arena pre-game collecting donations. Orlando hosts New Jersey tonight at 8 p.m. and New York tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
In addition, 100 percent of the proceeds from the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation in-game auction tonight on the concourse at Amway Arena (west end of concourse, section 117 and 118) will go to the American Red Cross to benefit storm victims.
During both tonight's and tomorrow evening's games, cash and check donations can also be made at the OMYF Auction table.
The Silver Stars senior dance team comprised of residents from The Villages is performing tonight.
