June 29 – July 11, 2006: Dancers to Perform for U.S. Troops in Germany, Belgium, Poland, and Norway
The Orlando Magic Dancers, along with Stuff the Magic Mascot and Kevin Holden, the host of Midnight Magic, will embark on their 3rd Armed Forces Entertainment Tour through Western Europe to entertain U.S. soldiers stationed overseas this 4th of July holiday. During the two week visit, the group will perform a one-hour variety show at 8 different military installations. The show includes singing, dancing, interactive skits, and lots of giveaways for the Soldiers and their families. The Dancers and Stuff will also conduct meet and greets, sign autographs, take photos, conduct dance clinics for the children of soldiers, and dine with the troops at each installation. The two week tour will include stops in Germany, Belgium, Poland and Norway.
At the completion of this trip, the Dancers and Stuff will have performed at 26 different military installations in 8 different countries since their first Armed Forces Entertainment tour in December 2004. The Magic Dancers and Stuff PROUDLY SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!
August 2 – August 11, 2006: Dunking Dancers Participate in Asia Madness Events in Guang Zhou, China and Hong Kong
The Orlando Magic Dunking Dancers and Stuff the Magic Mascot have been invited by the NBA to perform in NBA Asia Madness events this August. The group will first participate in a Jr. NBA Event in Guang Zhou, China followed by the main event, the Hong Kong Celebrity Jam Game. They will also participate in a press conference, sponsor appearances, and autograph sessions during their 10 day trip!
The Orlando Magic Dancers were the first NBA dance team to form a female dunk team and are proud to take their show global! This marks the 5th time the Dunking Dancers have taken their show on the road. Other performances outside of Orlando have included the 2006 NBA All-Star Game in Houston, the 2006 NCAA Final Four Weekend Events in Indianapolis, an NBDL Florida Flame game in Fort Meyers, and the 18th Annual China Sports Convention. Watch out Hong Kong…here come the Dunking Dancers!
