Howard Announces Debut of Official Website
March 17, 2009 – Orlando Magic All-Star Dwight Howard today unveiled his official Web site www.dwighthoward.com Howard teamed up with Orlando-based TSM Studio to design a fresh and innovative Web site that showcases his personality both on and off the basketball court.
Among the highlights of the new Web site are daily news and feature stories, as well as of the newly created “Dwight TV” where visitors to the site can view exclusive videos orchestrated by Howard including an extensive repertoire of dance moves, impersonations and wacky costumes. The site also features an interactive component where fans can communicate with Howard through social networks like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.
“I am thrilled to debut my personal Web site,” said Howard. “I think my fans will enjoy getting to know me more and will find www.dwighthoward.com entertaining. Everyone knows that I like to have fun and that’s what the site is all about.”
As one of the NBA’s top pitchmen, visitors to the site can view Howard’s television commercials and photo shoots with his corporate partners and watch behind-the-scenes footage.
Howard, a true believer in philanthropic and charitable work and the recent recipient of the NBA’s Community Assist Award for the month of January, shares his many contributions to his team community of Orlando, Fla. and his hometown of Atlanta, Ga. on his new Web site to emphasize the importance of giving back.
